Despite the economic climate we are working to create the platform for future delivery and over the last twelve months much has been achieved.

• The programme for the regeneration framework has been established together with Warrington & Co.
• A vision for the Waterfront has been developed.
• A masterplan for the Bridge Street Quarter of the town centre has been completed.
• Modelling future transport proposals has begun.
• A new public realm framework for the town centre is nearing completion.
• Orford Park sports village is moving from concept to delivery.
• The concept for Walton Hall is being developed.
• Neighbourhood management in four new areas of the borough and the town centre have been established.
• A Greenways & Healthy Lifestyles programme has been developed.
• Site preparation for the Omega site has started and a review of the development proposals is underway.
• Chapelford Urban Village continues to be developed.
• Critical improvements to Warrington Bank Quay have been implemented and the long term concept scheme awaits investment.
• The Wireworks scheme is under review.
• An improvement scheme for Central Station is being finalised for delivery.
